tldr: cheap drinks, good bathrooms, we love dogs

  • "The bathroom lock had a satisfying click to it, and the paper towels and soap were both fully stocked. When I saw myself in the mirror, I felt that I was both in the past and future at the same time. The present seemed to be erasing itself at a hard clip. My phone rang and I blacked out. I woke up in St Barts wearing a white linen jumpsuit. 10/10 would recommend."

  • "I stopped in because we were in the area and they had a really cool neon sign. I went inside and loved the red lit decor plus the walls were filled with various artworks from different artists. I didn’t take photos of that because I respected the original artwork to not share. But if you are there look at the walls. The drinks were fairly priced and service good. The music was just loud enough and the atmosphere was what it looked like. You won’t be disappointed."

  • "I am a fan of this place. Great atmosphere, always dark and red, very cozy. Great for a date, group, solo. Dogs allowed. $5 whiskey and a beer for happy hour. Cant beat that 5-8, I believe. Its in my neighborhood, I like the progression finally working its way East down Detroit. Hope theyre here to stay!"

  • "First of all, I think it's absolutely ridiculous that so many cool people are present in this bar at any given time. How am I - a moderately known person about town - going to impress ANYONE in this establishment? Even with the great lighting doing my face incredible favors, I can't even grab the attention of a single stranger. How do you, as a business, expect me to build my Instagram followers this way?? Either stop letting the cool people in 5 minutes after opening, or you will only see me drinking your ice-cold beers multiple times a week moving forward. Thank you for your attention to this pressing matter."

    —Koly Kolgate

  • "Wasn't going to stop in but then I saw a bad review saying there was a dog at the bar. I'd much rather drink with a dog than with people who don't like dogs, so win-win. Great spot for a shot and a beer."

    —Aaron

  • "Best of the best. You can bring you dog, which is absolutely amazing! The employees are so sweet, and fun as f. The people who go there are so cool and polite especially when it’s super crowded. Love the additional seating they added to the patio area. Thank you guys for creating for an amazing space. And f you fred nupp #old86forever"

  • "I genuinely love this place more than my own children. I sometimes stop in after a long day of business to reminisce about my days of a misguided youth from the 90s. A vibe so nostalgic that it reminds me of 1998 when I distinctly recall speeding into the high school parking lot in a faded yellow Oldsmobile delta 88 after a basement smoke sesh where we were blaring Korn “got the life” to get pumped up for a long day of horsin’ around - epic. At first I thought the owner was Bam Margera but someone quickly corrected me that they simply look similar although not the same person but still a cool dude and I’d still like his autograph. The one bartender I met is a great guy and great at his job. Occasionally I’ll sneak in half of a submarine sandwich and eat it directly out of my pocket as to not bring attention to my misdeeds. This place offers cool music , good peeps, neat red lights, and dogs - what more could you ever want out of anything?"
